ABSTRACT DATA VISUALIZATION PROCESS - FUI
Below is a process flow I began utilizing to create abstract visualizations for a future project.
Ironically, I'm still working out the process to the process and hope to make it more concise. The overall flow is usually how I work in regard to creating in "layers."

Please let me know in the comments or a DM if you had any questions and as always, thanks for the support!

Final animated render test using below texture process.

TEXTURE PROCESS FROM TOP LEFT - to BOTTOM RIGHT:
1. Procreate symmetrical sketch
2. Photoshop manipulation (levels, layers, further detail

2. Photoshop manipulation (levels, layers, further detail
3. Coloring
4. Texture is dropped into AFTER EFFECTS on a TRAPCODE MIR comp and manipulated for movement
5. Further effects in AFX (grid, glows, etc...)
6. To speed up "3D" look, I simply used a CC SPHERE effect and exported using GIFGUN PLUGIN

VARIOUS PHOTOSHOP RENDERS
- I work in BLACK and WHITE, then color as need be...

After the texture is created in black and white, some experimentation with layers, color and more texture for detail.
Most of these are simply to see how things look as a base. As an example of a "happy accident, the LOWER LEFT ended up appearing like a crystal structure.

CINEMA 4D EXTRUSION TESTS
- Using the BLACK and WHITE texture comps as extrusion maps, some interesting results happened.
- I may attempt to animate at some point
